FRIDAY, MAY 26 @ 12:15 pm    LISTEN & LUNCH: Vivaldi's "Opus 13"

In 1737 a set of six solo sonatas entitled "Il Pastor Fido" was published in Paris under the name of Antonio Vivaldi. Debate over the authenticity of these pieces continued for over 250 years until the truth finally came to light. Tim Blackmore delves into the murky dealings of 280 years ago to reveal the fascinating story behind one of the most successful musical frauds in history.
